When you welcome a puppy into your home, he may be at least two months old. Before that time, the breeder should not separate the puppies from their mother. Puppies at this age are independent creatures, but they still have strong feelings for their mother. Expect them to cry a lot for the first couple of nights. Puppies are above all curious creatures. They want to explore everything. But a puppy will not disappear from your life forever. This is because the puppy automatically sees you as an authoritative figure who can take the place of its mother. You can devise play activities to match this curiosity. You give your puppy a new environment.

Your only obligation to your puppy during this period is to make sure he has access to water at all times. Feed two to three times a day. Begin socializing your puppy as soon as possible. Invite visitors and let them play with small dogs. Let them walk around the yard with the dog. The small dog must be accustomed to the dog\’s presence and behavior. Be sure to go to the exercise yard right away. Even if the puppy itself is not yet trained, it will become accustomed to the presence of other dogs and will be able to explain what to do and how to do it.
