Prosecuted for fraud.
If you “improved your score” in order to get a loan from a bank, you can be prosecuted for loan fraud, even if you only borrowed a small amount. Hundreds of people a yearare prosecuted in this manner. This year, however, the amount of people who have borrowed fraudulently has increased enormously. The amount of money that fraudsters have extorted from banks has increased by 12% compared to recent years.

Surveys show that almost one in ten of those who need to apply for a loanlie to their banks in some way to increase their chances of getting a loan. Moreover, fabricating some information and hiding others as many as 93 percent of loan applicants seem unaware that they are committing a serious crime, namely credit fraud.
And it has nothing to do with how much a borrower borrowed. People think that if they don\’t borrow much, they will escape prosecution, which of course is a lie.
